Sital’s Total-OCTAVA™ MIL-STD-1553 is based on the OCTAVA design.
The Total-OCTAVA™ devices integrate a full solution on a 312-ball Plastic BGA (Ball Grid Array) package. That package integrates:
The Total-OCTAVA™ is a pin-to-pin replacement for DDC’s® BU-64863T8 Total-ACE®, providing electrical, mechanical, and architectural compatibility.
For all our components, Sital also offers its API/library/driver software for VxWorks, Linux, and Windows. These drivers provide API-level compatibility with DDC’s AceXtremeME library.
In addition to Mini-ACE and Enhanced Mini-ACE, Sital is able to second source most DDC component solutions, including ACE, Mini-ACE Mark3, Micro-ACE, Micro-ACE TE, and Total-ACE.
Cyber Security with SnS Technology
For all of its integrated 1553 terminals, Sital offers the add-on option for its patented Safe and secure (SnS) technology:
SnS provides the capability to detect and reject received messages from unauthorized transmitting BCs or RTs in real-time and also to detect and locate intermittent or continuous open or short circuit wire faults on 1553 buses, stubs, cables, couplers, terminators, or connected LRUs.

Minuet™ is a family of 8mm or 17mm Square, standalone, Mil-Std-1553B protocol terminals, which include Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT) and Monitor (MT). Depending on the configuration, Minuet can be configured as BC/RT+MT or RT+MT.
Minuet™ devices are software compatible to DDC® Enhanced MiniACE® components and architecture, with 8K or 16K Words of internal memory.
