To better serve its markets, Sital’s technology team supplies its customers with products providing improved functionality and performance. Sital’s proprietary enhancements provide profound advantages to our military/aerospace, industrial and automotive customers.

By means of enhanced physical layer monitoring, Sital’s Safe and Secure technology provides a unique combination of cyber authentication and electrical fault detection location capabilities for multi-drop data buses. This includes for MIL-STD-1553, CAN bus/ARINC-825-4, ARINC-429 and other data buses.

Sital can provide its IP and hardware products certifiable to DO-254, with software API/library/drivers certifiable to DO-178. For both DO-254 and DO-178, Sital and a third-party partner are able to supply the necessary artifacts for design assurance levels up to and including DAL A.

Sital also offers its SVIVADO service for integrating its IP and software on to Xilinx and other manufacturers’ SoC (system-on-chip) and MPSoC (multi-processor system-on-chip) FPGAs. This provides customers the benefit of greatly reduced integration times, allowing them to more immediately focus on their areas of higher level hardware and software value-add.

Sital also supplies the industry’s lowest power MIL-STD-1553 transceivers. Sital’s 1553 transceivers include built-in functionality to minimize or eliminate residual voltages or dynamic offset, aka “tails” at the end of message transmissions.

Sital also offers a 5 Mb/s version of MIL-STD-1553. This is based on MIL-STD-1553’s standard protocol and physical layer and Sital’s 1553 digital and transceiver hardware IP and software. It provides a solution for applications requiring a higher data rate than standard 1553, while allowing re-use of Sital’s software APIs/libraries/drivers and users’ application software.
