Overview
Sital Technology’s PCI Express HyperBoard provides up to eight MIL-STD-1553 interfaces with options for H009 and 16PP194. The board is available with two different options, either as a standard interface board or as a tester/simulator board. Both versions of the board provide compliance with MIL-STD-1553B Notice 2 and MIL-STD-1760 and include 64K of RAM per channel. The board also includes 8 avionics discrete I/Os, 8 digital I/Os and IRIG-B input and output.
The standard configuration board can operate in either BC, Multi-RT or Monitor mode and is provided with Windows API/library software. The tester version of the board can operate as simultaneous BC, multi-RT and Monitor, and provides capabilities for error injection and enhanced monitoring. In addition, the tester version is supplied with Sital’s COMposer GUI software, along with an API/library for Windows.
COMposer is a Windows GUI software application for enabling the board to perform test, simulation and monitoring operations. Its graphical provides options for numeric, graphical and instrument gage type displays. It allows users to configure the channels to operate as BC, RT and/or Monitor, define 1553 messages and frames, send and receive data, monitor bus traffic and validate correct operation of the board.
